Great ideas!
If you cut your restaurant meals back to twice a month, and give each person in the family a turn
pick the restaurant of their choice, going out to eat becomes something special instead of just a way to save
time and energy.
I'm passionate about camping! When money is tight, we need to draw our family and friends
in closer, and camping definitely does that. If you lack camping supplies, ask some of your friends and family
members if they have anything they wouldn't mine loaning you ... or if they have any camping gear they don't
use and are willing to part with for free or for a small price. You might even consider taking out an ad in your
local newspaper "seeking free / inexpensive / used camping gear for sale or trade".
My next blog entry will be about the camping trip I just returned from. I'll also be going over ways to make your
camping experience as comfortable as possible, and how to get from "Hey, let's go camping this weekend" to
having the car packed up and pulling out of the driveway within an hour. Look for it on my blog at
http://dejaviewstudio.blogspot.com on Wed., April 15th, and feel free to add any tips, tricks, ideas, etc in the
comments.
