Fabulous post, Marc
I'm new to your blog readership, and was going to tweet you today and ask you to further explain "Family First Entrepreneurship," but after reading this post, and more of your blog -- I think I'm understanding you. It's something that I've always had in my heart and tried to practice! By the way, I think this post truly embodies Family First Entrepreneurship.
Especially, as you describe -- having the stability to have more space available to the ones we love, and even when money is low, being able to be available and to love them w/o the baggage of shame! Ahhhh, such freedom! So is that which family first entrepreneurship is made of! I have not started my own business yet, but hope to soon. My husband can't work due to illness, and I've been taking care of him, but I'm hoping hat will change to the point where I will also be able to embrace entrepreneurship soon. I can't imagine myself doing the 9 to 5 thing, for somebody else, and not having control over my life. That will never be for me. And I don't have on rose colored glasses! I'm not oblivious that it will be very hard work, nor am I afraid of working very, very hard every day. It's what I already do! And, by the way, I also have fun! You may know me on Twitter as the one who likes to have fun sometimes! I work hard and I play hard! And I love the Lord hard! That's just me, passionate in all I do. :)
You may know me on Twitter (address is below) By the way, I subscribed to this blog by RSS feed. I want to keep up. I've seen few blogs on this subject with such INTEGRITY. I have a blog also. I need to update it daily -- haven 't been as much b/c I have been out of town with my husband John a lot -- he's been sick -- he's had and will have a lot of post cancer treatments. But I need to get back to steady blogging, so I will. I've been blogging for almost 5 years. You've inspired me to work harder, by your posts. Take care!
