Work Your Blessings

We have all been blessed with gifts in our personal and business lives. Generally, I find that we all know what these gifts are, and many of us use these gifts to help produce income. I know it’s not new news to hear that we should do what we do best and then hire or partner out the rest, but, as Family First Entrepreneurs this tactic helps us work more efficiently and also gives us more time with loved ones.

Defining your gifts and structuring your ventures around them becomes even more imperative when you consider the added benefit of more family time. I love it when a good family principle is a sound business principle as well. Once you start looking, you’ll realize that putting your family first will also move you to be a better business person.

When you put an emotional catalyst as large as losing time with the people you love as a motivator for efficiency in your business, positive change happens. Most of us create business to make more money in less time; we have to do what we do best and hire out the rest. I find that one of the biggest struggles for most entrepreneurs is duplicating themselves, because it relinquishes control. Let it go, time with your family is worth it and it’s a smart business practice.
