Love is Multi-Generational
As a recovering alcoholic, I have heard that alcoholism is multi-generational. Likewise, I believe love is too. My example of building relationships and keeping them dear in front of my sons will teach them to do the same. I’m a believer that my children learn from my example ten fold over my words.
I often invite Jaken to sit in on business meetings with me and he listens intently. I’ve have never had to ask him to be quiet or not to interrupt because he soaks it up. I love that. He gets to see me do business with people I care about and respect and I believe that knowledge will stick with him.
I read a book by a man who had ten children, all of which he home schooled. He believed that it was his duty to teach every one of his children a trade before they left home. He wanted his kids to be able to support themselves from day one, and I respect that. To add to his theory, I would say that they also need to know how to build and maintain loving and caring business relationships as well.
