From I Think So, to I Know So
When an entrepreneur goes from “I think so,” to “I know so,” it’s a beautiful thing. What I mean by this is that every new venture starts as an idea, and then it begins to bear fruit and becomes a physical manifestation of that idea. The evidence of this is what tells us we were right, and, depending on how much work and time it took to get to that point, it determines how sweet that knowledge can be.
I’ve just gone there with the book. How sweet it is!!! More and more people are reporting back after reading the book and they are saying how it has changed the way they look at things. Hearing this is elating, and people are responding more positively than I imagined was possible. So much so, it makes me feel that the team of well intended people I assembled to get it done all gave their best and it shows. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears in those pages.
If you are in your first “I think” venture, rest assured, you will “know” soon enough. The book took a year and a half to go from an idea to people reading a final copy. Looking back, it was my team, along with my family and friends, and their encouraging words that helped me along. I suggest you surround yourself with the kind of people that can do that for you as well. Also, remember, when the “know” shows up, it’s the result of a massive push filled with intention that got you there. It’s the intention that keeps us going, that keeps the fire stoked.
