The Hero Behind the Hudson River Plane Crash

Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger, pilot of the plane that recently crash landed into the Hudson River, is an example of a man who had one of those special opportunities in life to show his excellence and manifest the reason behind his life’s pursuit. I really love his story. He is a man obsessed with excellence at what he does, though he never knew he was going to have to use his skills in that special way. The generations of families affected by this man’s choice to be the best at what he did was, unbeknownst to him, his higher purpose. I think you’ll enjoy this article.

I too, have been very moved
I too, have been very moved by the many analogies to life, that we find in the story behind flight 1549. “Sulley”, as you infer, is an excellent example of becoming expert at what you do, whether that expertise is ever required. In this case, it most certainly was needed.
Isn’t that what life is all about? Being prepared, and/or “braced” for the adventures of life.
